THE TROJAN HORSE PRODUCTION CHALLENGE

Object: Your team takes part in a great "Greek Mythology Drama." Your team is transformed into a Greek Phalanx that is challenged to build a large moveable "Trojan Horse' from a chest of components. Each Phalanx is faced with many tasks: Development of the Trojan Horse to Greek specifications Artistic and color design Construction of Trojan Horse Unit, Catapult Unit, Phalanx Shield Unit Commanders Verbal, Logistical and Coordination Skills Objective: Phalanx and Catapult Units with their Trojan Horses converge on a pre-prescribed field of battle. Each Phalanx Unit will be challenged in an intense battle to the finish. Synthesis: What was the importance of interdependence of the group as a whole for survival? How well did you work together as a team? What skills and talents displayed by your team members surprised you?
