- Boogie Board & Tube Relays: Teams race from one end of a designated
area and back, alternating until the last teammate finishes.
- Volleyball: There is nothing like a good game of volleyball to
show off your true athletic ability and to get your group working
as a team. Start training now because once you arrive, there's no
turning back!
- Obstacle Course: This event is just what your team needs to get
the blood flowing. At the command, runners will dash down the
course, leap over hurdles, step in and out of a few inner tubes,
serpentine around cones and dive for the finish line.
- Tug-O-War: Team work, team work ... that's the key to make the
pull effortlessly. Cross the line and you lose, but hold the line for
some extra fun ... splash!
- Kayak Relays: Two Olympians on each kayak race out to the
marker buoy and back to the next teammates waiting on the
beach. This is a frantic race to the finish with each team
competing side by side. The team masters smooth transition
at the water's edge will have a great advantage. (Just a little tip.)
- Scavenger Hunt: Participants combine wits to search the area for
clues, items and prizes.
- Water Target Relay: Teams are lined up in military quadrants.
Each team must master a three-man slingshot, catapulting balls
to waiting Olympians maneuvering a four-man catch net. The
team capturing the most balls wins.
- Sand Sculpting Contest: Plenty of water. Plenty of sand. Which
team can build the most imaginative, unique sculpture? (Color paint
designs included.) This is a very relaxed, low stress event that everyone
can enjoy.
- Hobo Pass: Each Olympic team forms a circle and,
as the music plays, passes a Hobo Bag filled with Hobo clothing from member
to member. When the music stops the member "holding the
bag" becomes a hobo and must don the contents of the bag.
The team with the fewest Hobos wins. This is a great picture
event.
- Giant Ball Relay:
Object: A giant 6 foot ball is passed over a net to the
opposing team. Balls must remain airborne for winning points.
- Hot Potato Run: Olympians team will tie one leg of a pair
of panty hose around their waist. Into the other end they will
insert a large potato. Through body movements only (no hands,
please) each Olympian will swing the potato back and forward
between their legs moving a volleyball across the finish line to
their waiting team Olympian who repeats the course. The first
team to finish is the winner. Watching the gyrations of
team members makes this an hilarious event.
